Jungle Celebrities Jump For 'Malaria No
More UK'!
After their intrepid two weeks in the jungle 4 of the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' celebs were reunited and back pushing themselves to the limit. International artist and model Samantha Fox, snooker player Jimmy White and ex-Hollyoaks actor Stuart
Manning all signed up to complete skydives whilst Kim Woodburn came along for
extra support as part of the 'Malaria No More UK' parachuting day held at the
Oxford centre.
Sam and Jimmy both completed an amazing tandem
skydive from over 13,000 feet whilst daring Stuart put himself through
his aff level 1 a solo skydive, which means he
is on his way to becoming a qualified skydiver!
The day itself was a fantastic fundraiser for 'Malaria No More UK' who had over 40
people jump on the day aiming to raise more than £25,000. The charity's Executive Director, Sarah Kline, said:
"It was great to see so many of our supporters come together and take to the skies to help make malaria no more. The proceeds from the dive are going towards the purchase and distribution of life saving bed nets in Ghana - a country where malaria is the number one cause of illness and is responsible for one-third of all deaths in children under five."
So it's a massive 'Well Done!' from everyone at Skyline to all those who jumped on the day including the celebs and to everyone at the charity for making it such a great day!
